12 Sound Bars with SR-PA1 Sensor

Example System for MH12

12 soundbars in 5.1 channel surround sound showcase the capacity of this MediaHub. This configuration uses twelve HDMI ports to deliver audio signals via HDMI Audio Return Channel. When a push-button is pressed, the MH12 is programmed to play audio on that output. CEC commands must be programmed for each specific model of TV or soundbar. The Ethernet port allows maintenance to be performed remotely, including system health, data collection, program updates, and loading new content. Firmware updates and loading content may also be done on location via the respective microSD ports. The added SR-PA1 presence sensor has an on-board frequency analyzer. Used in combination with the MH12 Media hub, this frequency analyzer can be used to confirm speaker functionality using a tone test.  As each sound bar plays back a test tone generated by the audio player, the SR-PA1 reports the minimum, maximum, and average amplitude values of the tone over a set time period. The ultra sensitive frequency analyzer can even distinguish the test tone from background noise.

MediaHub with Advanced Audio

The MH12 Intelligent Audio MediaHub uses ARC (audio return channel) to demonstrate multiple sound bars. This device also features 4K video from its dedicated video output. The MH12 has 12 HDMI audio ports and 20 interface control ports for presentations of all sizes.
